Here is the Raw Story version of the Washington Post's article about John Kerry's remarks about his Senate come-back
'Fired-Up' Kerry
Here is my response - which I have copied to John Kerry's Senate virtual office:
John Kerry's Online Office
Hail John Kerry - Leader of the Opposition!
John Kerry should be the leader of the opposition for the next 4 years. He has a mandate - both the primaries and >48% of the vote. He has the courage and the visibility. He should not allow Bush to get away with anything! He should be the natural points person the media should come to for any executive orders. In addition, he should be minority leader in the Senate. He should reinvigorate the the Democratic party with a continuous campaign. Finally, he should bring a health Democratic Party to the Primaries in 2008 ready to to win the election.
If he has done a good job, he will be chosen at the Democratic Primaries on 2008 - if he hasn't been our leader during this critical 4 years of American History, then there are others who can win the Primary - Hiliary Clinton/Elliott Spitzer to think of 2 names from the top of my head. However, I think Kerry is the man for the job and he should not allow Bush to sleep easy thinking he has won an overwhelming mandate.
